How should we implement distributed transaction?

Hey everyone. I'm not sure if it's a naive question but since I've
read the manual and asked Google...

A project is using Tuscany as SCA implementation, integrated with
Spring, and access DB with iBatis. In this case, what should they do
if they want to support distributed transaction? Is there any best
practice and/or sample they can refer to?
