See also the Mime multipart support for Apache-SOAP I wrote 2 months ago, (slightly) 
outdated patches on http://worksport.net/~zombie/soap/. I'm using the JavaMail API's 
mime support. I'm not entirely happy with it, but I could find no other package with a 
sufficiently generic mime and mime multipart implementation.
