Cannot add kvm hosts
Good morning guys,
My KVM host has ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS, I have created the zone, but it fails
when adding the hosts, I run cloudstack 4.18.1.0 and this is the error I'm
getting:
Could not add host at [http://10.35.2.22] with zone [8], pod [8] and
cluster [10] due to: [ can't setup agent, due to
com.cloud.utils.exception.CloudRuntimeException: Failed to setup keystore
on the KVM host: 10.35.2.22 - Failed to setup keystore on the KVM host:
10.35.2.22].
Can you suggest anything guys?

It looks like libvirt does not work well.
Can you check the status and logs of libvirtd ?

it seems to be a network issue guys, we are not configuring the bridges
properly.

We did not have any issue adding our Ubuntu22 KVM hosts to cloudstack.
Are you able to reinstall the host and try a fresh installation? As far as I understand you are using certificates to connect the management server and the hosts? Did you try to use Authentication Method when adding a new host and use username and password?

Did you make changes to libvirtd to allow cloudstack-agent to connect to it?
I would suggest checking out Rohit's blog post (https://rohityadav.cloud/blog/cloudstack-kvm/) for setting up CloudStack with KVM.

Correct. agent.properties is only applicable for kvm hosts.
When you add the kvm host on CloudStack UI, CloudStack will setup
cloudstack agent and also update agent.properties.
Do you use XCP ? If so, when you add the cluster, the hypervisor type
should be "XenServer"
