Re: [PATCH] Obtaining the list of added/removed files

Ping...

Just catching up on some of the unreviewed patches. Has anybody had a
chance to review the following patch:
http://svn.haxx.se/dev/archive-2006-05/0873.shtml

If no one does anything with it in the next few days, I'll file an issue.

(btw, I apologize for using archive links instead of quoting these
messages inline, but I don't have local copies of these older patches.
It should stop once I get caught up.)

Great. Thanks for the update.

Right. But I decided not to insist on it further, given that there was
a consideration on making property changes machine-parseable. With
that goal achieved at some time (is it now?), it would be possible to
filter them out by a script. For now, I'm running the subversion
locally with my patch :)

Regards,
Alexey.

I think that --summarize fixes the second issue mentioned, showing a
list of files deleted between two URLs. I believe the other concern
regards running 'svn diff' and having it display limited information,
such as filtering out the property changes. Alexey, is this correct?

Yup. Thanks for the reminder.

Hmm. It looks like part of what this does is accomplished by the new
diff --summarize. I wonder if that eliminates the original concern, or
if it's still worth looking into.

(By the way Hyrum, perhaps you should cc the patch authors on these messages?)
