[users@httpd] httpd fails.....

Hello All,

My apache server had failed for two times repeatedly. Whenever I try to start the httpd service it gives error message "bad username xxxxxx". When I add this username xxxxxx httpd starts successfully. I need to know how this user gets deleted or missing. Can anyone help me. I am using redhat linux.
