[jira] [Issue Comment Deleted] (INFRA-8366) Create an infrastructure-whimsy mailing list

Sebb updated INFRA-8366:
------------------------
    Comment: was deleted

(was: infra-dev used to be archived in the private area, but the last archives are from Feb 2008.

The last message [1] was about plans to make the list public.

The next message in my GMail archives is from Roy, with the Subject

the infrastructure-dev list is now public

It looks like the ASF archives were accidentally dropped when the list was made public.

However, it does seem to be available at GMane

http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.apache.infrastructure.devel

Could not find it on MarkMail

> Issue Type: Task
> Components: Mailing Lists

> Priority: Trivial
>
> I'd like to encourage more discussion relating to the whimsy set of tools, and am requesting a mailing list to facilitate exactly that. (Yes, I have apmail, and will help maintain the list after it is set up, but I would appreciate it if somebody else could handle the initial creation). The list should be public and archived; I will be the initial moderator and I hope to recruit more moderators over time.
