[jira] [Created] (INFRA-8401) Email marked as SPAM after changing
to mail-relay.apache.org as SMTP server
Martin Grigorov created INFRA-8401:
--------------------------------------
Summary: Email marked as SPAM after changing to mail-relay.apache.org as SMTP server
Key: INFRA-8401
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-8401
Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Mail (qmail)
Reporter: Martin Grigorov
I use GMail for my @apache.org mail and after changing my SMTP server from people.apache.org to mail-relay.apache.org, as explained at [1] and [2], I've tried it by sending a mail (from GMail UI) to another my email account at YAHOO (actually @ymail.com).
The problem is that it landed directly in the SPAM folder.
What I understood from [1] and [2] the idea to the change the SMTP server is just the opposite.
I did no other changes but change the SMTP server from PAO to mail-relay.apache.org.
