[jira] [Commented] (KNOX-558) HttpClient connections are not always
returned to the pool for HBase on Windows
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KNOX-558?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14680976#comment-14680976 ]
JR commented on KNOX-558:
-------------------------
The issue title says this is Windows but I see this on a Debian Wheezy install as well (if the log file entries in KNOX-552 are correct). After submitting a request or two (it varies) I see this in the logs:
2015-08-10 19:41:01,124 DEBUG conn.PoolingHttpClientConnectionManager (PoolingHttpClientConnectionManager.java:requestConnection(219)) - Connection request: [route: {}->http://carra-idm-staging.tch.harvard.edu:60080][total kept alive: 0; route allocated: 2 of 2; total allocated: 2 of 20]
It's a blocker bug for us and I'm under a deadline. If there's a class to point me to I'd be happy to take a look, esp. if it fixes it for everybody.
I'm running java 1.7.0_75 (Oracle) on 'Linux carra-idm-staging.tch.harvard.edu 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.68-1+deb7u2 x86_64 GNU/Linux'. in a VMware cluster.
