Hello all,
After taking into account your suggestions for the logo based on the Doodle Suresh put out last week, I've created a draft banner (attached).
In terms of the actual icon, remember that most OSes actually display the name of the program on their own, so that should be picture-only, no text. I will work on that last after we get a final banner with logo done and cleaned up.

Hi Barbara,
Can you please change the color of the elephant to white? May be you colored it to have a contrast from background, but Airavata has to be milky white.
I am having second thoughts on the border as it is showing up too prominently, but lets wait what others think as well.
