[jira] [Commented] (VYSPER-300) Virtual Hosts
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/VYSPER-300?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13225213#comment-13225213 ]
Stig Runar Vangen commented on VYSPER-300:
------------------------------------------
I would rather see that there were no parameters for the XMPPServer constructor. My problem with the constructor is that I would like to check against the domain name in a custom UserAuthorization. The way it works now I will always get the domain name given in the server constructor, while I would like to get the address configured by the user. I could then lookup the correct user based on his original connection details. If there is a need for a defined list of domain names I would suggest that the library supported both opt-in and open.

> Hi,
> as far as I can tell with the sparse documentation, vysper does not support virtual hosts (as in running more than one and different domains on one server instance).
> This is a feature request to support virtual hosts.
> thank you :)
