I hadn't been doing that, but I think that's a great idea.  I'll start

Michael, thanks as always for the thorough patch management work.

Are you changing the issue types to "PATCH" when you attach a patch?
I think that might be a good idea -- it helps us know there's code
there, which could go stale the longer we let it sit.
