[Bug 58073] New: Extremely long time for graceful restart
https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=58073
Bug ID: 58073
Summary: Extremely long time for graceful restart
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.4.12
Hardware: PC
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: mod_fcgid
Assignee: bugs@httpd.apache.org
Reporter: nyanhost@gmail.com
I am using latest mod_fcgid 2.3.9
>From time to time I do a graceful restart (apachectl graceful).
Sometimes there is an error in the logs:
[Mon Jun 22 13:48:11.447638 2015] [mpm_worker:notice] [pid 27601:tid
140022656644864] AH00297: SIGUSR1 received. Doing graceful restart
[Mon Jun 22 13:48:25.863836 2015] [fcgid:error] [pid 11604:tid 140022656644864]
FastCGI process 11681 still did not exit, terminating forcefully
[Mon Jun 22 13:48:27.109884 2015] [mpm_worker:notice] [pid 27601:tid
140022656644864] AH00292: Apache/2.4.12 (Unix) mod_fcgid/2.3.9 configured --
resuming normal operations
I ask to pay attention to how much time passed from the beginning to the end of
the restart. Graceful restart was accomplished in 16 seconds because of this
issue.
How I can prevent this behavior?
