[jira] [Closed] (QPID-4166) Add all possible qpidd configuration settings to /etc/qpidd.conf

     [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-4166?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]

Justin Ross closed QPID-4166.
-----------------------------
    Resolution: Won't Do

I'm personally not a fan of config files that do this.

As it happens, qpidd makes it easy to find the config file entries and defaults in the man page.

> Add all possible qpidd configuration settings to /etc/qpidd.conf
> -----------------------------------------------------------------
>
>                 Key: QPID-4166
>                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-4166
>             Project: Qpid
>          Issue Type: Improvement
>          Components: C++ Broker, Packaging
>            Reporter: Noel O'Connor
>            Assignee: Justin Ross
>            Priority: Minor
>
> Add all qpidd configuration options to the qpidd.conf file installed into the /etc/ directory. The default setting should be that the majority of settings are commented out. This is useful for further configuration rather than copy/pasting from docs.
