[jira] [Created] (SOLR-17051) Min Facet count setting is ignored when using json facet Api for "missing" count

Harsh Sahu created SOLR-17051:
---------------------------------

             Summary: Min Facet count setting is ignored when using json facet Api for "missing" count
                 Key: SOLR-17051
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-17051
             Project: Solr
          Issue Type: Bug
      Security Level: Public (Default Security Level. Issues are Public)
            Reporter: Harsh Sahu
         Attachments: image-2023-10-23-17-12-24-608.png

While using json facet it has been observed that the min count is ignored when the response is sent from Solr regarding the “missing” count for a field.

Consider this simple json.facet :

{

    "myFacet" : {

      "type": "terms",

      "field": "display_name_st",

      "limit": 3,

      "mincount": 500,

      "missing": true

    }

  }

Response observed is shown below:

!image-2023-10-23-17-12-24-608.png!

As seen from the response the missing count is still returned with a value of 497 even when then mincount was passed as 500. While the min count works well for all the other values it should work for the missing count as well.
