Defective document.
Editing the attached document (possibly with actions that cause the
re-positioning/re-rendering of the inserted pictures) causes (all) the inserted
pictures disappearing from view after a few (~10) minutes. A red rectangle
appears instead. (Images are EPS vector graphics.) The inserted graphics are
actually preserved in the saved document but cannot be displayed any more in
the current editing session.
Can be cured only by restarting openoffice.

AOO does not natively import EPS graphics
