[jira] Created: (HARMONY-6456) [performance] improve performance in
Harmony network and IO classes
[performance] improve performance in Harmony network and IO classes
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: HARMONY-6456
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HARMONY-6456
Project: Harmony
Issue Type: Task
Environment: all
Reporter: Jimmy, Jing Lv
The current performance of networking/io is a bit slow in Harmony implementation. Much work to be done to improve as:
1. use high performance native API like readv/writev instead to fill the arrays of data
2. simplify the native call stack to save time;
3. reduce unnecessary array copy in the data read/write
4. remove unnecessary synchronizations
5. remove redundant varieties
etc.
