Printing large SVG Files

Hello.

I have several large SVG files that don't seem to print properly with the
Squiggle browser (or my own batik-based application).  I always just get one
page of output, which is just the cropped upper-left corner of the image.  Is
there a way to print all pages (or at least more than one)?  What about scaling
the image before printing?  I've tried zooming and transforming, but the
printing transcoder doesn't seem to take any of that into account when actually
printing.  Is this normal?
