In following example the default button for that form does not work??? When i enter something in search string and press enter key, the action is not performed, any workaround???

Resolution: Not A Problem
Agreed, use the user mailing list. The "default submit button" feature is actually specific to browsers, particularly IE. There is nothing in the HTML spec that specifies what a default submit button is and how it is invoked by pressing enter.
