[jira] [Commented] (SAMZA-72) Support exactly once messaging
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SAMZA-72?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14130256#comment-14130256 ]
Chris Riccomini commented on SAMZA-72:
--------------------------------------
Kafka has a proposal to add transactionality here:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KAFKA/Transactional+Messaging+in+Kafka
Most of the work was done by [~lindong] and [~raulcf]. Their work is [here|https://issues.apache.org/jira/issues/?jql=project%20%3D%20KAFKA%20AND%20assignee%20in%20(raulcf%2C%20lindong)]. The biggest JIRAs seem to be:
KAFKA-1523
KAFKA-1524
KAFKA-1527
When this feature is committed. Samza should be updated to handle transactions.
