Yes, this is specified in the WebDAV Standard. With Delta-V things get even
more complicated. Here - in some cases - the delete is not performed.

I saw that requesting a copy over an existing collection with overwrite
flag set to true deletes the overwritten collection before copying.

I would like to know if this behavior is specified by webdav specifications
or if it is a Slide design choice.

WebDAV, Delta-V, RFC3253

Hi,

we are new with WebDAV and start a project where we plan to use it.

We also need in the future simple document versioning at minimum with lock.
I am a little confused of we should use 'pure' WebDAV, or Slide with 
Delta-V.
Is RFC3253 implemetion given in Slide, or in WebDAV or  what is the 
actual status?
