Is there anyway to identify XALAN Version programatically??

Thanks

Judging by the line number from which ExtensionHandlerJavaPackage
throws the TransformerException that wraps the NullPointerException, I
believe you're picking up Xalan-J 2.4.0 or earlier. I'm guessing that
might not be the version of Xalan-J you intended to work with. If so,
there could be some class path issue that's causing ant to pick up a
different version of Xalan-J - perhaps one that's part of the JRE.

Beyond that, it's hard to tell where the NullPointerException itself
occurs, because we're only seeing the stack trace for the
TransformerException, not the exception it wraps.

Thanks,

Henry

See the class org.apache.xalan.Version.
