[ANN] Fulcrum Workflow Component 1.0-dev Available

Committed to the Jakarta Fulcrum project is the first version of a Workflow
component based on OpenSymphony OSWorkflow.

This component is designed to be run in any container compatible with
Avalon's ECM container. It provides basic support for loading the
OSWorkflow system. Also included is an example webapp based on the Turbine
2.3 application server. This example duplicates the example webapp bundled
with OSWorkflow.

The component is designed to use OSWorkflow 2.6, but should be compatible
with 2.5 as well. To build the component and the example app requires
Maven.

You can find the documentation on the component here:
http://jakarta.apache.org/turbine/fulcrum/multiproject/fulcrum-workflow/

You can find the example app documentation here:

ple/

Development jars can be found here:

Some Notes

* The component doesn't provide any support for putting OSWorkflow files
anywhere except the default location.
* Has only been tested with OSWorkflow 2.6 CVS HEAD
* For use with Turbine, there is a Workflow Pull tool located in the example
application:
http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs/jakarta-turbine-fulcrum/workflow/example/src/j
ava/org/apache/fulcrum/workflow/example/tools/WorkflowTool.java
* To help faciliate working with the OSWorkflow objects in a Velocity
Template, there is a special WorkflowInstance object that simplifies access
to
the various methods and parameters of a specific instance of a workflow:
