Zeppelin on Windows 8
Hi everyone,
I'm pretty new to Zeppelin and I try to use it locally on my laptop (with
windows 8).
I managed to build it with cygwin following theses steps :
http://madhukaudantha.blogspot.fr/2015/04/building-zeppelin-in-windows-8.html
The build is succesful but when i try to start the zeppelin-deamon, i've
got the following results :
Zeppelin start [ OK ]
Zeppelin process died [FAILED]
with the log :
can't find main class : org.apache.zeppelin.server.ZeppelinServer
Does anyone know how to get rid of this error ?

Thank you Damien, I just wanted to test Zeppelin indeed so i will try the
VM solution.
Meanwhile, if anyone succeds in using Zeppelin with Windows, please let me
know !

Thank you for your answer but i think that i don't get it : i clone the git
repo like in the tutorial and i build zeppelin successfully locally. That
said, i have the error of zeppelinserver class not found.

I had similar issues in the passed that were resolved by getting the code
again and re-building it.
this error happen when you get the code and not build it locally
