All test code currently relies on Jetty 6 which is six years old and not properly represents today's servers and repository managers like Sonatype Nexus.

Tasks:
* Revise all code for Jetty 8.1 (last Java 1.6 version)
* Check for inconsistencies and errors
* Fix constant test failures on non-Windows platforms which are likely due to bad code
