I have started a test with 2000 users to ramp up over 3600 seconds with single
iteration for a HTTP bases Script which runs for 2-3 minutes
Memory : Max 6G allocated as Heap
At user #613, getting out.of.memory.exception
Although it is to be observed that active threads are only 70-90
Now as we have setup for 1 iteration, expectation is thread should close, to
release memory, but that is not happening.

- Are you using Gui or non GUI mode ?
Also jmeter.log is always available in bin/jmeter.log, can you attach it please

1/ Are you using GUI or non GUI ?
2/ Can you start the test again and attach the jmeter.log ?
Please try to read and answer all questions, we work on a volunteer basis and
our time is counted, if we need to make 10 mails to get all answers, it 's
annoying.

I was running test in non-Gui mode

screenshot showing the memory it retains.
