problem with MenuBars with menus and items when applications are first loaded. Basically the entire UI will render first, but menu bars will hang for a few seconds and show as bunched up text - then being drawn into a widget.

Suppose we set display:none on XAP until it loads... That could prevent the strange appearance of some things as they slowly load
Only problem is that users like to feel like something is happning while they wait, even if it is a funky display problem
