I've been updating all of the Incubator scripting and agree to keep podlings.xml in svn. The incubator site has no trouble with this. There is quite a bit of clutch and reporting scripting that comes out of python.

Sam's 1) above is why I like SVN for many purposes - like releases!

I think this should be closed as "Won't fix"
