[jira] [Created] (INFRA-4367) Transfer the additional openoffice domains from Oracle to ASF

Transfer the additional openoffice domains from Oracle to ASF
-------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: INFRA-4367
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-4367
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Task
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
          Components: DNS
            Reporter: Andrew Rist

I have the list of additional domains for transfer to ASF.
The vast majority will end up forwarded to openoffice.org

Also in the list is odftoolkit.org , which the odftoolkit incubator is very interested in.

Is there any issue with putting the full list of domains in the JIRA?
Note, they have already been unlocked and are ready for ASF to initiate transfers

Andrew Rist commented on INFRA-4367:
------------------------------------

I have a specific list of domains that are currently unlocked and ready to transfer.
For that reason, I was not putting them in the JIRA. When someone is available from the ASF infra side to help on this, I can provide the list.
The issue at the moment is not the lack of a list, but rather the priority of this item in the queue on the infra side.

Any chance of getting the odftoolkit.org domain redirected sooner? It should point to the ODF Toolkit podling here:

http://incubator.apache.org/odftoolkit/

This is the one and only domain this project had, so it would be great if it is not queued up with some secondary OpenOffice domains.

Andrew,

Thats fine, thanks. I was commenting on the number, so I can make sure I get the right price from our registrar service provider. Then make sure that the VP signs off the cost and has sufficient CC space to take the charge (though this is unlikely to be an issue).
Andrew, can you please email root@ with the complete list, and their current status (locked, etc) - I will then contact our registrar and see if we can bulk move them.
