aliases
once the emails are in the inbox, I guess that the aliases are not used
anymore?
I.e. if recipient is root and there is an alias is from root to jerome.
When mail is already in inbox, if I connect to POP with user jerome, I
won't be able to read my email whose destination is root?

Hi Jerome,
If the alias existed at the time of delivery, then the mail should get
delivered to the jerome inbox so when you connect as jerome, you'll see
it. However, if you create the alias after the mail is delivered, you
will not see it when you log in as jerome.
The aliases only control direction of delivery to a box. POP doesn't use
them at all.
