[jira] [Created] (PHOENIX-3574) Allow number of salt bytes to be configurable

James Taylor created PHOENIX-3574:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Allow number of salt bytes to be configurable
                 Key: PHOENIX-3574
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-3574
             Project: Phoenix
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: James Taylor

Instead of using a single salt byte, we should allow the user to specify how many bytes they'd like for their table. This can help when Phoenix is used on a very large cluster.
