[ANNOUNCE] Commons Parent 38 released
Commons Parent 38 has been released.
[It may take a few hours before the artifacts are available from Maven Central]
The main reason for this release is to fix the bug in site.xml
discovered recently.
Changes:
o Fix URL for Security link
o Update Assembly Plugin : 2.5.3 => 2.5.5
o Update Cobertura Plugin : 2.6 => 2.7
o Update Jacoco Plugin : 0.7.2 => 0.7.4
o Update Javadoc Plugin : 2.10.1 => 2.10.2
o Update Surefire Plugin : 2.18 => 2.18.1
Release Notes are at:
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/commons/proper/commons-parent/tags/commons-parent-38/RELEASE-NOTES.txt
The documentation for the POM is at:
http://commons.apache.org/commons-parent-pom.html
Please report (or just fix - can be done using CMS) any doc errors and
omissions.
Note: components are recommended to upgrade to this version, but this
is not mandatory, so if it causes problems, please revert to the
original version - and report the problems on the mailing list or in
JIRA under COMMONSSITE
Components using CP37 in particular should upgrade to this version in
order to fix a bug in site.xml.
This affects the "Securlty" link under "General Information"
