Inheritance in PostgreSQL

Hi

as opposed to many other databases supported by Torque PostgreSQL is a 
object-relational database and supports inheritance directly, even multiple 
inheritance. The PostgreSQL adapter that comes with Torque seems to ignore 
that if you specify schemas that make use of inheritance.

Is there any way to make use of PostgreSQL native capabilities regarding 
inheritance. If not (what I suspect) is anybody working on extending Torque 
to make that possible?
