fails to replace "_HOST" to hostname for
hadoop.http.authentication.kerberos.principal
Jing Zhao created HDFS-6822:
-------------------------------
Summary: In branch-1, Namenode and datanode fails to replace "_HOST" to hostname for hadoop.http.authentication.kerberos.principal
Key: HDFS-6822
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-6822
Project: Hadoop HDFS
Issue Type: Bug
Components: security
Reporter: Jing Zhao
Assignee: Jing Zhao
This is an issue reported by [~yeshavora]:
In branch-1, Namenode fails to start with "HTTP/_HOST@EXAMPLE.COM" value of hadoop.http.authentication.kerberos.principal property in core-site.xml. It only supports hostname instead _HOST. Namenode can support "HTTP/detailed.hostname.com@EXAMPLE.COM" value.
Same issue also exists with datanodes.
