### Question
Hi Team,
We want to access the iceberg table using the duck db engine . Currently we are converting to Icerberg table to PyArrow and than accessing the PyArrow Dataframe using Duckdb engine . we would like to check is there any way we can directly access the iceberg table using duck db engine . if not is there any plan to support in future and when can we expect for this feature ?

Hi @akash-goel I know that DuckDB is working on native Iceberg support, but this isn't available today, and probably will take a bit of time. From a PyIceberg perspective, write support is a high priority and that's being worked on. Keep in mind, this would require you to convert the DuckDB query back to a PyArrow dataframe, but PyIceberg could provide helper methods for that.
