[users@httpd] Removing index.cgi

I'm trying to remove "index.cgi" from my URL structure on my shared
host. I've been trying Rewriterules in my .htaccess without luck.

Can someone please help?

Don't want "index.cgi" in URI structure:
http://trac2.natalian.org/index.cgi/browser/projects/

This is how I want it:
http://trac2.natalian.org/browser/projects/
