[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-12160) Document Time Routed Aliases separate from API

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-12160?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16418403#comment-16418403 ]

David Smiley commented on SOLR-12160:
-------------------------------------

It's hard to say where "time-routed-aliases.adoc" goes in terms of navigation. I believe under SolrCloud... perhaps further under "How SolrCloud Works" since this document is an overview of how TRAs work. So I need to do that still.

With the addition of this page, I think I should trim down some of the explanatory details in collections-api.adoc#CREATEALIAS that has a paragraph on how TRAs work, and instead have that part refer to this page.

> Time Routed Aliases ought to have some documentation that is apart from the API details which are already documented (thanks to Gus for that part).
