[jira] [Commented] (TEZ-688) Make use of DAG specific credentials
in Session mode
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TEZ-688?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13867100#comment-13867100 ]
Hitesh Shah commented on TEZ-688:
---------------------------------
Are credentials that heavy that there is need for additional complexity to optimize whether to send them or not?
If the UGI creation is a performance overhead, that could be easily in YarnTezDAGChild by doing a comparison of previous and new credentials and only creating a new UGI when needed.
User code can also be invoked in vertex manager/edge managers. Is that being handled in a separate jira?

> Once TEZ-395 is fixed, DAG specific credentials need to be used in the AM, as well as made available to containers executing tasks belonging to the DAG.
