This appears to be addressed on master by commit [`2ebc677`](https://github.com/apache/hudi/commit/2ebc6775dbb61ba78d5527ec60b704e0e185210e) (PR #14060, *refactor(spark): Remove glob paths and deprecate read paths support*), merged 2025-11-25. That change deleted `PathUtils.scala` and `HoodieInMemoryFileIndex.scala`, and removed glob-path / old-relation handling from `DefaultSource`, `HoodieBaseRelation`, `HoodieFileIndex`, the MOR/Bootstrap relations, and the Spark3/Spark4 adapters. If this covers the intended scope of HUDI-9395, this issue can likely be closed.
