   Hi @ThibaultJanBeyer ,
   
   Your issue may be something specific to the MacOS packaging - I know others have had to edit different files to get ini settings to get picked up.
   
   If you `curl http://localhost:5984/_node/_local/_config/httpd/www-authenticate` do you see the correct value present?
