   Thanks, @gianm . I have the following log4j2 under resource folder, but problem is still there when I tried to print a debug() message:
   
   ```
   <Configuration status="WARN">
       <Appenders>
           <Console name="Console" target="SYSTEM_OUT">
               <PatternLayout pattern="%d{ISO8601} %p [%t] %c - %m%n"/>
           </Console>
       </Appenders>
       <Loggers>
           <Root level="info">
               <AppenderRef ref="Console"/>
           </Root>
       </Loggers>
   </Configuration>
   ```
