Please consider applying a patch to asfgit-admin which exposes a new `short_branch` variable for use when customizing email subject lines.

If the patch is acceptable, please customize the "subject-fmt" hook for all three Lucy repositories (lucy.git, lucy-clownfish.git and lucy-charmonizer.git) to be the following:

    [%(repo)s %(short_branch)s] %(subject)s 

(Please note the absence of the superfluous string "git commit:".  The goal of this issue is to maximize the useful information visible in a typical email client when browsing commit emails.)
