RE: Possible bug
this only happens if you don't have any <area ../> tags
in your between <map name="myMap"></map>
if your map is in the xml-file you must provide the tempaltes
for <map> and <area>.

I don't agree. Here is a portion of my .xsl :
<p align="center">
<img src="map.gif" width="485" height="303" border="0"/>
<map name="Map">
<area shape="rect" coords="364,183,479,288" href="zone1.html"
alt="Zone 1" title="Zone 1"/>
<area shape="rect" coords="140,36,349,213" href="zone2.html"
alt="Zone 2" title="Zone 2"/>
<area shape="rect" coords="9,9,122,96" href="zone3.html" alt="Zone 3"
title="Zone 3"/>
<area shape="rect" coords="355,5,474,96" href="zone4.html" alt="Zone
4" title="Zone 4"/>
<area shape="rect" coords="35,102,132,178" href="zone5.html"
alt="Zone 5" title="Zone 5"/>
</map>
</p>
And the </map> tag disappears :-(
