getRequest from RequestContext?

I'm using Tapestry 3.0 beta 3 and for some reason I cannot get the request
from the Request Context. It is documented in the API but even the source is
missing this method.

What is the preferred method for getting the header information from the
request? Or is there something wrong with my Tapestry download?
