[jira] [Closed] (UIMA-2241) Calibrate heuristic for dynamic anchoring

Peter Klügl closed UIMA-2241.
-----------------------------

    Resolution: Later

The estimation of the heuristic works quite well as is it know. Maybe after further performance improvements of the rule inference (e.g., UIMA-2332), the heuristic needs to be adapted. I close this issue.

> Calibrate heuristic for dynamic anchoring for the TextMarker rule inference. Currently, it's just log(|Type|)* ElementIndex * IndexPenalty. Run some tests with combinations of all parameters to optimize the heuristic, e.g., how much faster moveToNext is compared to moveToPrevious and what is the effect on the inference.
