POLL: Remove XMLRPC from Turbine Core?
Hi folks,
I would like to remove the XMLRPC service from the Turbine core because
it can be replaced right away by its Fulcrum counterpart. It is not
referenced in the core code anyway.
If you want to stop me, cry out loud.
Bye, Thomas.

The fact of the matter is that when converting to 4.0 people are going
to have to convert across to using fulcrum components. It makes no
sense to retain services in the core that are available as fulcrum
components. From my reading of his comments Juergen is all for this and
in fact I don't see how his former employer would be against it either.

It's not to be removed completely but by now we have three different
implementations to maintain (in Turbine 2.3, in Turbine Core and in
Fulcrum). I want to clean up a bit. The Fulcrum service should be able
to replace the Turbine service 1:1.
(Same goes for XSLT)

Hey Thomas,
I have used it in one of my apps. But since it was only with my old
employer, go ahead.
