Aias00 opened a new issue, #6601:

## Description
Root forces 17 (`pom.xml:84`, `:727-728`) via active compiler config, so children's `maven.compiler.source=8` is overridden. Two *production* TCP modules ship POM metadata claiming Java 8 bytecode while actually emitting 17.

## Impact
Misleading artifact metadata; if root compiler config ever moves to `pluginManagement`, these silently fall back to 8 and break on Spring Boot 3.x.
## Suggested fix
Remove the `maven.compiler.source/target` overrides; let root's `java.version=17` apply.
