Guys,

In case you ever run into this Error the likely problem is you run out of disk space. To prove it, just before the error is thrown, log into your namenode WebUI: <ip-address>:50070 and watch your Cluster Summary, i.e. DFS remaining ****%. As soon as you reach near 0% the error will be thrown .
