[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-15231) zk upconfig does not recognize ZK_HOST style url

Jan Høydahl commented on SOLR-15231:
------------------------------------

Thanks for the report. The documentation at [https://solr.apache.org/guide/8_8/solr-control-script-reference.html#upload-a-configuration-set] does not mention ZkChRoot at all, so this must be an oversight. The fix should be applied for all bin/solr commands that takes a zk argument but do not handle ZkChRoot.

> While uploading new configset to zookeeper using Solr control script, the -z parameter is not recognizing ZK_HOST style string.
>
> Say, I use <ip-1>,<ip-2>,<ip-3>/solr, then the config is uploaded to <ip-1> directly, instead of /solr znode.
>
> Note: <ip-1>/solr,<ip-2>/solr,<ip-3>/solr seems to work.
