XLink or XInclude extensions for Xerces?

Hello

As the mail archive for xerces-c-dev is momentarily down, I would like
to ask directly on the this list about previous efforts or intentions to
develop a XLink and/or XInclude extension to Xerces. Has there been or
is there any such intention or project?

Many thanks for any comment or hint to resources

Greets, Andre Mueller
