Has anyone worked on this Jira ?

If not, I'm interested in it and I think we could separate the work into 3 parts(Volume, Bucket and Key) if you think the separation is proper. (Or If there is a better separation, would you please tell me if I miss something. )

Cleaning up old code is also causing trouble for some patches fixing write path now they need to update in 2 places.(Because if we change a constructor, then it will require change in 2 places)
